Firefighters Christmas for Kids 2022

Hydrants and Hearts is comprised of all RPFFA Local 181 employees. Not only do we make up the committee and volunteers needed for all events, all our employees have made a long-term commitment to donate a percentage of their cheques to support these charities’ causes…AMAZING!

For this year’s Christmas Campaign we partnered with Kids First and the Rainbow Youth Centre to support every family in the program. 

We donated around $8,500.00 to give over 40 children and 32 families the Christmas they deserve.  We were fortunate enough to accompany Santa and the Rainbow Youth Centre Staff to the homes of the families to drop off presents and gift cards for groceries and supplies.  Getting to know some of the amazing staff, learn of the tremendous work they do, and spend some time with the children and families involved in this program meant as much to us as it did them.

We thank you for bringing us along and look forward to the opportunities ahead working alongside you all.
