Get ready for round 2 of musical mayhem, Regina! Your local firefighters are back, armed with harmonies that have been praised by the legendary John C. Reilly, who described our voices as a combo of "Fergie and Jesus." Even Buddy the Elf chimed in, saying, "By the way, I think you guys have the most beautiful singing voices... in the whole wide world." High praise, right?
WHEN: Friday, December 15th, from 10 am to 11 pm
BIDS: December 1st - December 13th @ 11:59pm
WHERE: We'll be rolling around on a bus, hitting up local businesses, restaurants, and bars, singing your favourite Christmas classics in exchange for your bids. Pay us to sing or pay us to leave. Either way, we want your money—for a good cause, of course!
WHAT'S NEW THIS YEAR?
Just like last year, we'll be cruising around on a bus, making stops at local businesses, restaurants, and bars, serenading you with our not-so-harmonious Christmas classics in exchange for your generous bids.
Here's the twist: you can bid to send our off-key carollers to another local business for a dose of holiday cheer or bid to have them grace your establishment with their unique tunes. Whether you want to spread the joy to others or endure the melodies yourself, it's your call! And hey, feel free to increase your bid amount anytime before December 13th at 11:59 PM to make it extra special! After all, it's all for a good cause!
Bid high, and you might just make someone’s dream come true. Bids start at a jingle-worthy $300.
We'll swing by your chosen local business, grace them with a few tunes, and snap some pics for our website and social media.
Are you a local business that has been added to our Naughty List? Beat the original bid to send our carollers to any other local business.
HOW TO BID:
Ready to kick off a bidding war and spread some festive cheer? Follow these simple steps to place your bid and decide where our not-so-harmonious carollers will be serenading this holiday season:
1. Find the Pinned Fundraiser Post:
Head over to our Instagram or Facebook page and locate the pinned fundraiser post at the top of the feed.
2. Comment Your Bid Amount:
In the comments section of the pinned post, state your bid amount. Feel free to get creative with your bid—it's all for a good cause! For example, "I bid $300 to send the carollers to [Tagged Business]!"
3. Tag the Chosen Business:
Make sure to tag the local business you want to send our off-key carollers to in your comment. This will add a touch of friendly competition and ensure they're in on the holiday fun!
4. Increase Your Bid:
Did a rival bidder challenge your bid? No worries! You can increase your bid amount at any time before December 13th at 11:59 PM. Simply reply to your initial bid comment with the new amount and keep the bidding war alive!
5. Watch the Festive Showdown Unfold:
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the bidding war unfold in the comments. The highest bidder will secure the coveted spot for our carollers' musical escapade!
